MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: FIRST ANNUAL BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE 2016

Dear Valued Users,

The Center for Workforce Development (CWD) is dedicated to serving the public by providing free access to high performance computer workstations, free computer applications courses and technology systems to all individuals, groups, businesses, organizations, and institutions. Our mission is to provide members of the Tallahassee community with technology education resources in order for them to advance themselves within the workforce and in society. In observance of our mission statement, we held our first annual Back to School Drive on July 30, 2016.

Due to your valued participation, thus far we have provided 218 backpacks filled with school supplies to 73 households within the Tallahassee community and given away an excess of 950 garments which included but were not limited to men’s, women’s, and kids shoes, dresses, and bottoms. By the same token, we are furthering our goal of donating 250 backpacks filled with school supplies to families in need for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Thank you again for your contributions, your patience and for your continued support. We take pride in our accomplishments and because of your participation we were successful in our efforts to help members of the Tallahassee community.

Feel free to browse through the pictures which were taken at the event!

Humbly serving our community,
